Corniche Beach, La Teste-De-Buch, France

Standing at 357 feet tall, 1,640 feet wide, and 8,800 feet long, the Dune of Pilat, embraced by a lush pine forest, is the tallest sand dune in Europe, cascading down to Corniche Beach along the Atlantic Ocean. While climbing the dune is allowed, for breathtaking views that even the birds envy, consider taking a 10-minute paraglide ride with Pyla Parapente over this stunning natural monument.

Sète’s Corniche Beach extends from the Corniche Promenade, located near the Canal des Quilles and the Stadium of Sète. This picturesque sandy beach features two bays, each boasting approximately 200 meters of soft sand, and is sheltered by a substantial dam.

An access ramp is available for individuals with reduced mobility, and there is free parking situated above the beach.

During the summer months, visitors can enjoy several beachfront restaurants and a playground for children.

To the right of this beach lies a designated area for water sports, including windsurfing and kitesurfing, marked by a visible black and yellow water line.
