This pristine and tranquil area has no hotels, allowing for a more peaceful experience. You can park your vehicle and stroll across a bridge to access a secluded stretch of white sandy beach, which features an outdoor shower. This beach is unique for having barbecue grills available for use. To reach it, take a left on Bowman’s Beach Rd. off Sanibel-Captiva Rd., heading up the island.
Amenities include restrooms, changing rooms, and an outdoor shower, along with oversized vehicle parking (20 feet and over) and several free handicap parking spaces (7 total). There are picnic tables, barbecue grills, and a public telephone near the restrooms. Additionally, you’ll find nature and fitness trails, as well as a canoe and kayak launching area.
