The 155-meter yacht Al Said, crafted from steel, is owned by Qaboos bin Said, the Sultan of Oman. According to Business Insider, his net worth is approximately $1.1 billion.
Built by the Lürssen shipyard in 2007, Al Said boasts a helicopter pad, a concert hall, and a cinema. At the time of its launch, it was the second-longest yacht in the world and remains the heaviest superyacht, with a displacement of 15,850 tons and powerful diesel engines generating 22,000 horsepower. Designed by Espen Øino with interiors by Redman Whiteley Dixon, this luxury vessel offers a spacious layout for up to 70 guests, attended by a crew of 154 to ensure a premier experience onboard.
Qaboos bin Said came to power after a 1970 palace coup that deposed his father, Said bin Taimur. As the 14th-generation descendant of the Al Bu Saidi dynasty’s founder, he serves as the Sultan of Oman and its governorates.
